This week’s prompt: Done.
I’m done being afraid of what the future might hold. I’m done worrying about losing my relationships at home when I go to college.
I’m done seeing myself as anything less than a masterpiece of God. I’m done condemning myself for not being enough. Of course I’m not enough, but He is more than enough.
I’m done trying to control my relationships. I’m done with not trusting God to do with them what is best for all involved. I’m done trying to navigate them on my own strength.
I’m done depending on myself for strength and courage and stability. I’m done ignoring the power given to me by the Holy Spirit.
I’m done with trying to become the person God created me to be without asking Him to give me wisdom and grow me.
